Korean Language Classes for Foreigners in Korea

The Korea Foundation Cultural Center Offers free Korean language classes for foreigners in Korea The classes, led by Korea Foundation volunteer teachers, are held 7:00-9:00 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Anyone interested in learning Korean language is welcome to join.

(Exit 9, City Hall Station, Subway Line 1 and 2)
▣ Times
Monday(7:00-9:00 p.m.): Hangeul (Korean alphabet) class, Beginners 1, Beginners 2 class.
Wednesday (7:00-9:00 p.m.):Hangeul class, Intermediate, Advanced class.
Friday(7:00-9:00 p.m.) : Hangeul class, Beginners 1, Beginners 2 class .
▣ Guidelines
Each new session Starts on the first day of the month. Each class meets once a week
You can join a class up until the 10th of each month. People wishing the join later will have to wait for the next session.
All students will have to take a level test before starting a new session. Students who miss three classes in any one month will need to repeat the class.
▣ Content of each class
Hangeul class (4 weeks): This class, designed for people with no prior knowledge of Korean, will introduce consonants, vowels, and basic vocabulary.
Beginners 1 and 2 class(4 weeks each): Students will gain basic communication skills in Korean on topics related to family, daily routines, hobbies, shopping, phone calls, etc.
Intermediate and Advanced class: Students will practice listening, reading, writing and speaking, and learn about Korean culture with various audio-visual materials.
